Is the Starlite safe?

1. YES. Starlite is safe, painless, and after 30+ years of low-level laser usage, no side effects or contraindications are known or have been reported with the use of this type of device. Starlite is certified to meet FDA laser safety requirements, CE compliant, and manufactured under requirements for safety, quality, function and documentation listed for such laser devices. Starlite also has a built in safety interlock circuit. The laser only operates while held close to your skin, making Starlite suitable for users with playful children.

2. NO. The treatment is gentle, painless, safe, non-invasive, nonabrasive, and requires no recovery time as with medical lasers.

Can it be used around the eyes?

3. YES. The Starlite may be used for crow's feet, wrinkles and blemishes around the eye. Simply make sure not to shine the laser directly into the eye. Even with your eyes closed, you will be able to tell if the laser is being pointed into your eye as a bright painful red light will present itself. No harm will come from short term exposure to the eye, but do not shine the laser into the eye for a prolonged period of time.
